An important feature of Lenz heated socks is the use of merino wool. Merino wool offers a number of advantages.

Merino wool provides excellent warmth, is breathable, highly elastic, lightweight and dries quickly. This combination not only makes it comfortable to wear, but also prevents unpleasant odors. Merino wool is much finer than conventional sheep's wool because merino sheep or rather their wool is heavily crimped and naturally has a wool-like structure. This means that thinner ski and functional socks are also possible.

Additional functions provide even more convenience. Individual heating elements (right/left sock) can be controlled separately. However, we at Bergfritz also particularly recommend the Lenz interval function (controllable via the app). This automatically switches the battery and thus the heating on and off every few minutes and extends the runtime by over 50%

What we particularly like is Lenz's patented Toe Cap function. This heats your socks where the cold really starts and is uncomfortable to feel. The Lenz heating padding encloses your toes at the top and bottom and warms the forefoot area very intelligently.

We also find it easy to attach the battery using the push button. The push button also serves as the technical connection from the battery to the heating element and the tedious plugging in of cables is completely eliminated with Lenz heating socks.
